ADVERTISEMENT

Applications in the format given below are invited for recruitment to the following posts in the University. The application duly completed in all respects be sent with demand draft payble to the Comptroller, MPUAT Rs. 500/- for Associate Professor & above and Rs. 200/- for Assistant Professor (for SC/ST candidates it would be reduced to 50%). Last date of receiving the application is 15th September, 2005.

Professor:
Essential Qualification:

1.       Doctoral degree in the relevant subject.

2.       At least 10 years experience (excluding the period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree, subject to maximum of 3 years) in Research/Teaching/Extension Education, provided 5 years experience is as a Associate Professor (12000-18300) or an equivalent positions.

3.       Evidence of contribution to Research/Teaching/Extension Education as supported by published work/innovations.

4.       Specialization & experience in the related field.

1.       Doctoral degree in relevant subject.

2.       5 years experience (excluding the period spent in obtaining the Ph.D. degree during service, subject to maximum of three year's) in Research/Extension Education/Teaching as a Asstt. Professor (8000-13500) or in an equivalent position in the relevant subject.

3.       Evidence of contribution to Research/Teaching/Extension Education as supported by published work/innovation.

4.       Specialization and experience in the related field.

1.       Good academic record with atleast 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade at the master's degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or, an equivalent degree from a foreign university.

2.       Candidates, must have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for Assistant Professor(s), conducted by U.G.C. or for Scientist(s), conducted by A.S.R.B. or C.S.I.R.

Desirable : Ph.D. in the relevant subject.

Qualification for the Posts of Engineering discipline:
Assistant Professor:

1.       First class B.E. or M.E. in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology.

General Note

1.       A relaxation of 5% will be provided (from 55% to 50%) in the marks, at the Master's level for SC/ST category candidates.

2.      NET shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant   Professor, even for candidates having Ph.D. degree. However, the candidates who have completed M.Phil. degree by 31^st December, 1993, or have submitted Ph.D. Thesis to the University in concerned subject on or before 31^st December, 2002 are exempted from appearing in the NET examination. In case such candidates fail to obtain Ph.D. degree they shall have to pass the NET examination.

Conditions:

1.       University will not be responsible for any delay including postal delay.

2.       The posts can be increased/decreased maintaining the Roster System.

3.       The University reserves the right not to fill up any or all posts advertised.

4.       If number of application is high, screening will be done through written test.

5.       Incomplete application form will not be considered.
