ADVERTISEMENT

Applications in the format given below are invited for recruitment to following posts in the University. The applications duly completed in all respects be sent with Demand Draft payable to Comptroller Rs. 500/- (for Assoc. Professor & above) and (for SC/ST candidates it would be reduced to 50%). Last date of receiving the application is 15th September, 2005.

Note : Those candidates who have applied for the post of Associate Professor of Nematology in response to this Office Advt. No. 02/2005 dated 19.03.2005, need not to submit application fee Rs. 500/- again.

Qualifications:
For the post of Dean College of Horticulture & Forestry, Jhalawar (S.No. 1):
Essential Qualification:

(1)       Doctoral Degree in Horticulture/Forestry or in the related specialization in Pomology/Floriculture/             Vegetable/ Horticulture PHT.
(2)       At least five years experience as Professor (Rs. 16400-22400) or in an equivalent position or an             Eminent Scientist having proven record of scientific contribution, working in a reputed             organisation/institute, having at least 18 years experience in the relevant subject.
(3)      Evidence of contribution to Research/Teaching/Extension Education in the relevant field as             supported by published work/innovation.
Desirable:

(4)        Experience in a Teaching/Research/Extension Education in Management positions.

(2)        At least 10 years experience (excluding the period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree, subject to maximum of 3 years) in Research/Teaching/Extension Education, provided 5 years experience is as a Associate Professor (12000-18300) or an equivalent positions.

(3)        Evidence of contribution to Research/Teaching/Extension Education as supported by published work/innovations.

(4)        Specialization & experience in the related field.

Associate Professor:

Essential Qualification:

(1)        Doctoral degree in the relevant subject.

(2)        5 years experience (excluding the period spent in obtaining the Ph.D. degree during service, subject to maximum of three years) in Teaching/Research/Extension Education as a Assistant Professor (8000-13500) or in an equivalent position in the relevant subject.

(3)        Evidence of contribution to Research/Teaching/Extension Education, as supported by published work/innovation.

Qualification for the Posts of Engineering Discipline:

Professor (16400-22400)

Essential Qualification:

Ph.D. with first class in B.E./M.E. with 10 years experience of which 5 years should be of Associate Professor or its equivalent.

Associate Professor (12000-18300)

Essential Qualification:

Ph.D. degree with first class degree at Bachelor's or Master's level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology with three years experience in Teaching/ Industry/Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent.

OR

First class degree at Master's level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology with five years experience in Teaching/Industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent. Such candidates will be required to obtain Ph.D. degree within a period of seven years from the date of appointment as Associate Professor.

Conditions:

(1)        University will not be responsible for any delay including postal delay.

(2)        The number of posts can be increased/decreased maintaining the Roster System.

(3)        The University reserves the right not to fill up any or all posts advertised.

(4)        The appointment on these posts will purely be as per ICAR guidelines.

(5)        If number of application are high, screening will be done.

(6)        Incomplete application form will be rejected.
