It is to notify that the Fourth Convocation of the University will be held on 16th October, 2006 (Monday) at 10.30 AM, at University Campus, Udaipur.
All the passed out Graduates/Post Graduates/Ph.D. Scholars, who have passed their degree during academic sessions2003-04, 2004-05 & 2005-06, are hereby invited to attend the convocation to receive their degrees. Those students of Master and Ph.D. programmes, whose theses are approved by Director of Resident Instructions up to 5.00 PM of 20th August and 1st August 2006, respectively, will be considered for awarding the degrees in the convocation. The gold medals to the eligible meritorious students of UG and PG programmes, shall also be conferred during the convocation for these academic sessions. The interested candidates who want to attend the convocation may send their acceptance in the prescribed pro-forma (given here with) to the Controller of Examinations office latest by 3rd October, 2006. The degrees (excluding Ph.D. Candidates) and robes will be made available on the date of convocation between 7.00 AM to 9.00 AM, at the New Building of College of Dairy & Food Science Technology, University Campus, near to convocation site.
Every candidate attending convocation will be required to pay nominal hire charges for Robe (Gown) & Hood and also deposit Rs. 500/- as security money (refundable) on the return of Robe (Gown & Hood).
One or two family members (parent/brothers/sisters) may accompany the candidate during the convocation, for which the candidate should submit request in the prescribed format on the day of convocation. They would be required to get their entry passes at least one hour before the start of convocation proceedings, i.e. by 9.00 AM, from the respective counters from where the degrees are to be distributed.
Participation of the student in the rehearsal scheduled on Sunday 15th October 2006, at 2.30PM, is compulsory for award of the degree. |
